This Solar LED Rapid Flashing Beacon with Push Button Activation is ideal for alerting traffic of upcoming pedestrian crosswalks. The beacon can be set to various flashing patterns depending on preference. Using Push Button Technology, this product will turn on when pushed and then will turn off after 60 seconds of inactivity. The beacon system has a rechargeable battery and mountable solar panel that makes this product energy efficient and easy to use in locations where there is sunlight.

What pole is best for these?

Ø These can mount to any sign post but come with hardware to mount to standard traffic posts (u-channel, telspar or round straight). Please see our installation manual for instructions.

Are there color options besides the Amber Yellow?

Ø Amber (standard) or red. Other options are available upon request.

How long will they last on a full charge?

Ø Up to 12 hours on a full charge.

Can this work in conjunction with a flashing sign?

Ø Yes, this can work in conjunction with flashing signs but is customized and a non-stocked item.

Are the RRFB’s always used in conjunction with crosswalk signs?

Ø In general, RRFBs are accompanied by crosswalk markings and signs as they are used to indicate that pedestrians may begin crossing the roadway.

Do you offer an AC powered rapid flashing crosswalk beacon system?

Ø Yes, we do offer an AC powered RFB system in addition to our solar powered RFB system.

Does your Solar Horizontal Rapid Flashing Beacon System activate both rapid flashing beacons with the push of one button?

Ø Yes, as long as the two RFB’s and their boxes are within 60' the beacons communicate via radio frequency so that both beacons are activated by either push button.

Are the W11-2 pedestrian crosswalk and W16-7P arrow signs included in the price of the RFB system?

Ø No, they are an additional cost, but we offer any size and color sheeting that is required to complete a crosswalk system.

Do you offer a push button system with Rapid Flashing Beacons on both sides of the pole?

Ø Yes, we offer both a single sided RFB system as well as a back-to-back RFB system which includes RFB’s for both sides of the pole.

Does the rapid flashing beacon system come with the posts?

Ø No, the RFB system and pricing does not include posts. However, we do offer various pole options.

How long does the beacon flash once the button is pushed?

Ø 60 seconds from time of activation.

Does it come with the signs?

Ø No, the standard price does not include signs however, we make and offer signs from our in-house print shop and are made to MUTCD standards.

Is the RRFB system available with an audio warning as well?

Ø Not currently but we are in the process of finalizing this option!
